Started in 2010, the blog has now become an essential part of who I am. I started the blog simply to share my stories with the world, and with time it grew and became a source of inspiration for many others. Travel writing opened up many new avenues for me, including even more opportunities to travel. I now not only write for the blog, but also magazines and newspaper and also run my own Travel Channel on YouTube.

'The Wanderer' on National TV shows

Discovery India made an episode on my life as a travel blogger on their series called 'India's Best Jobs' where I explored Jaisalmer and around with Meiyang Chang. If you missed watching The Wanderer on TV, here's a promotional video about the show :)

As a traveller I am a firm believer of the concept of 'World Without Borders' and believe that stories of travel, stories and dreams can help in connecting the world to make it one. Someday. Most recently I also gave a TEDx talk talking about my passion of travel and stories.

Story behind the blog!

I am a designer, traveler, blogger and photographer who loves people more than everything else. I derive my passion from interacting with the people for whom I design the products as well as from the people I meet with during my travels throughout the globe. I am extremely passionate about inspiring the world around me to travel more, as I truly believe that only traveling can break barriers and make us more tolerant and accepting of our differences. I hope that sometime in his lifetime, there would be a world without visas and boundaries and all of us will be free to explore the world unhindered...

In Ahmedabad...

I also like to call myself homeless (not literally though) i.e. there isn't one place that I belong to. I have lived in and studied at very many places in India and abroad, and each one has been influential in shaping me up. It was a blessing that as a kid as we constantly moved around, never belonging to one place yet owning every one of these places and experienced a variety of life-styles, foods, and people.

The Wanderer happened more by chance, as I was sitting alone one cold afternoon in Almora and thinking about ways to spend my evening. But now its a part of me, I enjoy writing about my travels and sharing with people. Their feedback helps me as well as the blog to grow and evolve. 

Currently I am based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

    What I am going to talk about is not marketing. But we have a start up in travel space and feel that is a strong need for " AutomatedTravel Planning" which otherwise is time consuming and tedious (surely interesting too) and hence this "Smart Travel Planner" "www.hikeezee.com"

    Who else would be better than avid and interesting travellers like you that can tell us what we have done is suitable or to whom it is suitable, maybe too early to ask this...but neverthless you will find the expereince interesting. Couldnt find your mail id. hence posting here.
