Exotic Wooden Doors from a Gujarati village

Doors have always fascinated me, and they are even more special whenever I see them in a small village. Here is a photo story of some of the lovely old wooden doors that I saw in a small village near Mehsana in Gujarat.

It was a sizzling hot afternoon and there was barely anyone in the village. As I walked across the village with my camera, the kids got interested in me and followed me wherever I went. When they saw that I was more interested in the doors than in them, they started photo-bombing every door shot I tried taking :)

It was fun as I love clicking children (another photo-story on them will follow soon) and at the end of the day we spent more time looking at the pictures than actually clicking them :)
