The last time I was in
Varanasi, I spent a week soaking in the life around me (and occasionally some sun as well it was December).
This trip was much shorter, just a day in the magical city with a new friend. Here is the first in the series of images I clicked walking through the ghats and the inner lanes...
The one thing I missed out on last time, but tried in this one eventful day was Thandai with bhang! There are multiple shops around, and the easiest way is to find to find 'Godowlia crossroad' and there are multiple shops selling Thandai there; make sure you ask them to give you Bhang Thandai :)
And by the way, in Varanasi it is all also legal :)

She is one hell of a good writer and I must mention, first time in my life I got introduced to very much interesting blogging world as I came across few other writers like you too while going through her blog. You have kept it very minimum but to the point and catchy info with creative photography. Its just few days I have started reading your blog and I really liked it very much.
