Kumbh 2013...
Going to the Kumbh mela this year was one of the most exceptional things I did in life. I can share my experiences with words, but I think the images speak much much more than I can ever express in words.
The women at the ghats, with a Trishul in the central shot. I clicked people, almost unabashedly, it was awesome to capture them candidly... |
And the men at the ghats... |
Some of the most interesting people at Kumbh are the Naga babas... |
The Naga babas don't wear clothes, and cover themselves with only ash. Ash keeps them warm during the winters, and its also a constant reminder that we will turn into ash sooner or later... |
Awesome captures !
